Obituary of William T. Crews, Jr.

William Thomas "Bill" Crews, Jr., passed peacefully at home with his family, March 11, 2024. He was born in Lynchburg, VA, and moved to Cayce as a teen. He graduated from Brookland-Cayce High School and attended USC. He met the love of his life and wife of over 60 years, Judy, on a trip to Myrtle Beach. Bill was a systems analyst at SCANA and retired early to enjoy traveling with Judy and friends. He was a beekeeper, a H.A.M. radio operator, and the family genealogist. He was a lifetime member of Brookland United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; his brothers, Danny and Johnny; and his five children, Kim (Terry) Peterson, Jim (Emily) Crews, Tom (Sheri) Crews, Cara (David) Robinson, and Rob (Erica) Crews. He has eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service for Bill Crews will be held at Brookland United Methodist Church, 541 Meeting Street, West Columbia, SC 29169 at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 17, 2024. The family will receive friends following the service in the church social hall.
